Peter Kropf is the Head of the Distributed Computing Group. The group covers a wide range of topics in the area of distributed computing including cloud computing, wireless networks, parallelism, simulation and optimisation. A particular focus concerns the developpment of cloud environments for complex systems including data gathering, secure storage and efficient computing. He is a founding member of the Centre of competence Complex Systems and Big Data.
