Yarco Hayduk is a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Neuchatel, supervised by Prof. Pascal Felber and cosupervised by Dr. Anita Sobe. His current work is primarily targeted at investigating the use of Transactional Memory in Energy Efficient Computing.

Prior to doing his doctoral studies, Yarco worked for Zilliant Solutions, SoftServe and HQS. He completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science at the University of Lviv Polytechnic (Ukraine). In 2012 he completed his Master's in Computer Science under the excellent supervision of Prof. Carson K. Leung at the University of Manitoba (Canada). Later that year, he also completed his Master's in Computer Science under the supervision of Prof. Anatolii Batiuk at the University of Lviv Polytechnic.

Yarco's research interests include Transactional Memory, Distributed and Large Scale Computing as well as Data Mining. He also enjoys Functional Programming.
