Anita Sobe

Anita received her PhD in Computer Science at Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt, Austria in 2012 with distinction. She was lecturer at the FH Kärnten, Austria as well as senior researcher at the networked and embedded systems group at Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt, Austria. She worked as post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland contributing to the ParaDIME project (EU FP 7 FET proactive) targeting software-hardware solutions for energy-efficient data centers. She further contributed to the LEADS project (EU FP 7). Her research interests include parallel and distributed systems, energy-efficiency, self-organization in networked systems, virtualization, applications of transactional memory. She has been member of several program committees, including IEEE SASO, IEEE CCNC, WISES, TRANSACT, IEEE PerEnergy. She is a member of ACM.
